Canoe in the Deep Blue

 

This photo was taken on a little inlet bay at Maronola (Cinque Terre) Italy.  The water was so blue that you couldn’t see down into it.  It made everything floating on top of it just explode with depth and color.

Every night at sunset tourists and some of the locals gather at the water’s edge at Maranola, Italy to watch one of the most glorious sunsets I have ever seen.  This may be the world’s best front porch.

Cinque Terre Terrace

 

This is a digitized photo of one of the five hill towns of Cinque Terre, Italy.  You walk along the cliffs to the different towns and you come around a corner and you see glorious sites light this one.  It just takes your breath away.
